Jackie grew up in Wallington, in Bergen County, the middle of three kids. Her older sister has worked for PSE&G for nearly two decades, and her younger brother works in law enforcement. Her father was an attorney who went on to become a Superior Court Judge and still sits on the Bergen County bench. Her mother, a retired schoolteacher, actually grew up in Verona on Franklin Avenue — and today she's the go-to babysitter for walks in Verona Park with her fur grandbaby, Finn.
Jackie is especially proud of her nephew Drew, who just started his first year at the Merchant Marine Academy, where he'll also play soccer.
A standout athlete at St. Mary's High School in Rutherford, Jackie went on to play collegiate soccer on scholarship at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She then followed her father into the law, earning her degree at Rutgers Law School in Newark and clerking for now-Federal Judge Brian Martinotti. She's spent nearly 15 years since in civil litigation, representing people who've been injured against the insurance companies that are supposed to protect them. At 32, she became the youngest woman in New Jersey certified as a Civil Trial Attorney. Today she's a partner at Lynch Law, running their Bloomfield office.
Jackie also knows the ups and downs of owning a small business firsthand. For several years she owned Pure Impact Fitness, a small Pilates & Fitness studio in Ridgewood, NJ. After making it through Covid, the business became a success and was eventually acquired by LifeTime Fitness.

With her mother's roots on Franklin Avenue and old law school friends already settled in town, Verona was the natural place for Jackie to put down her own roots. She dove straight into the Slothballer soccer and softball leagues, and landed a raised bed in the community garden, which she now tends with friends.
Jackie met her husband Daniel, who lived nearby in Montclair, at a legal event — and when it came time to move in together, Verona was the easy choice. They're an active pair who love fitness, travel, and the Jersey Shore — usually with their rescue dog Finn, the most spoiled rescue in town, right beside them.
Jackie wants to help restore Verona's schools as a premier place to raise and educate kids — the reason many families choose this town in the first place.
Whether it's the size of a home, the programs kids can join, or simply enjoying downtown, Verona should make it possible for families to grow here, not move away.
Jackie supports Verona moving forward — but only development that doesn't come at the expense of the people who already call this town home.
A vibrant, walkable downtown is part of what makes Verona special. Jackie wants to see it protected and strengthened for the long run.
Jackie isn't running to keep things the same. She's a new voice on council who won't be intimidated or pressured out of pushing for real change.
From the courtroom to the community garden to the Slothballer fields, Jackie shows up. She'll bring that same energy to council meetings.
